I have to confess. I love the look of a serious baby, with a face that is all eyes. I love the look of a baby pout, with the kind of drama only a toddler can bring. I also love the joyous smile of a two year old, who just happens to be the center of the family’s attention.

I love children. To me, the perfect image isn’t always perfect. Its the one that is most real, the captures something about the child at their age. Its the family picture where the parents are doting and fussing over their first and still only child, in a way thats bound to be lost when that next sibling arrives.

For me photography is as much about emotion as it about light. Whether my final image is in warm black and white, or vivid color, I think my relaxed child-centered style shines through.
